In bioethics, we often look at individuals as isolated cognitive beings with unique capabilities and powers. In reality, none of us are like that.  We are all dependent on a support networks that enable us to do the things we do in our lives. This simple fact is seen in different cultures and captured in imagery we use to understand our lives, but is sometimes missing in our care models for the elderly.

Alzheimer's disease:  Can we diagnose it earlier and modify its progression?

A Maze of Possibilities: Thoughts on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Hear Dr. Zina Kellow, radiologist women's imaging at Mount Saint Joseph (MSJ) and St. Paul's Hospital, and Dr. Ashley Davidson, medical oncologist for the BC Cancer Agency, as they discuss the topic of breast cancer in older women, the latest screening and diagnostic tools and treatment options.
