A special program for patients, residents and family members.

Guided by Providence Health Care’s principle How You Want To Be Treated, compassionate care is provided to 350,000 patients and residents each year.  Your donations have helped provide a level of care not covered by government funding alone.

Donations from grateful patients, residents and family members* have brought important new equipment items and services to our sites.

You can help!

Grateful patients and families can make contributions to ...

  • support purchases of specific equipment items or programs
  • honour life events including births and deaths
  • celebrate milestone events such as birthdays, christenings, anniversaries or graduations
  • support one of the seven sites Tapestry Foundation supports including:

Brock Fahrni Pavilion, Holy Family Hospital, Honoria Conway at St. Vincent's, Marion Hospice, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, St Vincent's Langara, Youville Residence

Here is sample of recent projects Tapestry Foundation was able to support through donations from grateful patients, residents and family members. 

Echocardiogram and holter analysis machine for the new cardiac ambulatory unit at Mount Saint  Joseph Hospital.

Newly renovated garden for the enjoyment of residents who live at the Brock Fahrni Pavilion.
Vitrectomy unit to assist patients with concerns related to macular degenerative eye disease.
Four bladder scanners purchased for Brock Fahrni, St. Vincent’s Langara and Youville Residence to diagnosis urinary abnormalties in residents. 
A re-design of the tub room at Holy Family Hospital to make it completely wheelchair accessible.
Six sleeper chairs were purchased for Marion Hospice patients and their families.
