Ways to Participate

We're building the Team!

Run. Walk. Raise funds for elder care reseach. It's easy and a lot of fun.

Become a Team Captain:

Build a team of 5 or more members
Agree to raise a minimum of $300 (5K) or $330 (Half-Marathon) and your entry fee is FREE.
Set a fundraising goal for your team - AIM HIGH.
Share fundraising tips with your team members.
Come out and have fun on the day of the Run.
Celebrate your team members’ successes! An awesome prize is available for the Captain and their winning team.

The top fundraising Team Captain will have bragging rights for the year, and will receive 2 tickets to the 2013 Scotiabank Feast of Fortune gala.

Become a Team Member:

Join the Tapestry Trailblazers Team when you register for the event.
Agree to raise a minimum of $200 (5K) or $230 (Half-Marathon) and your entry fee is FREE!
Set up your own fundraising page and raise funds for elder care research.

Great prize for most funds raised by a team member!

Cheerleaders / Supporters:

Go to the Tapestry Trailblazers Team fundraising page and sponsor a team member or two.
Spread the word about the Run and pledging.
Volunteer for Tapestry Foundation at the Run.
Be at the finish line and cheer our team on.
